Year 11 Drama production receives rave reviews

22 June 2018

The breadth of talent of Meriden’s Year 11 Drama students was evident as they took up the challenge of producing their own theatre production. After many months of planning and rehearsals, Wilde was performed to thunderous applause on 21 June in Wallis Auditorium.

The production brought two Oscar Wilde tales to the stage: The Selfish Giant, directed by Year 11 student Ananya Deshpande, and The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by Year 11 student Narmatha DeLillo. The performances were met with glowing feedback from the audience.

Next term, Drama students from Years 9 and 10 will have the opportunity to display their thespian talents at Meriden's annual Drama Night, while Year 12 students will preview their HSC Drama performances in a special HSC Drama Showcase.
