Meriden seeks to appoint our next Head of Junior School, following the recent announcement of our highly regarded Head of Junior School, Dr Michele Benn, as Meriden’s new Head of Teaching and Learning.

We are known for Meriden girls achieving excellent academic outcomes within a balanced holistic education that equally values cocurricular opportunities, pastoral care and strong Christian foundations. Our Junior School is flourishing with over 600 girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 on two campuses adjacent to our Senior School campus in Strathfield.

The Junior School is a calm, happy, safe environment which nurtures each girl’s enjoyment in her learning, and where she is known and supported in developing her potential. Our Junior School programs not only prepare the girls for their life in Senior School; they prepare the girls for their future lives and to make a positive impact on the world.

Our new Head of Junior School will have a highly developed appreciation of the future of learning; a deep understanding of the needs of primary age girls and their families; the capacity to think strategically and bring rigour to academic leadership; the ability to lead high performing teams and build productive working relationships of trust. They will be a valued member of our dynamic, collaborative and committed whole-school leadership team, while also leading our exceptional Junior School staff and our students with their joyful thirst for learning.
