Meriden musicians had a magnificent eisteddfod season, achieving outstanding results and showcasing the breadth of the school’s Music program and the dedication of all the girls and music staff.
The Sydney Eisteddfod season offers hundreds of girls the opportunity to take to the stage and showcase the results of their hard work in rehearsals for the year.
This year, over 450 students competed in 13 different events. All ensembles achieved a top-three placing or highly commended result, with five ensembles receiving a well-earned first place.
After taking the top place in the Youth Choir (19 Years and Under) section, Senior Singers also went on to compete at The John Lamble Foundation Australasian Championship for Youth Choirs. Another impressive performance saw them announced as victor at this subsequent event.
