Global Glam

Last Friday in the Senior School, the Prefects organised a fashion show called ‘Global Glam’ at lunchtime to celebrate Harmony Day and provide our community with a moment to celebrate our cultural diversity.

Girls and staff from a range of cultural backgrounds walked down the runway in the Sports Centre, showcasing their traditional cultural dress. It was a wonderful moment of celebrating as a community the various backgrounds and traditions that are represented at our school.

Before and after-hours supervision

A reminder to parents that the Senior School Campus closes at 6:00pm each day. Students who remain behind on campus are not under the immediate supervision of staff unless they are participating in a scheduled cocurricular activity or in the Library. If girls stay on site after hours, they should only be in the Bell Garden, Undercroft or Library, where there are after hours staff nearby.

If your daughter is on campus before or after school hours, please be aware that she may be socialising, on her phone/laptop or moving between the campus and Strathfield Plaza. It is important that parents ensure that they know their daughter’s movements after school and discourage her from remaining on site without a planned cocurricular or study activity.
