At the end of last term, we celebrated the Graduation of our Year 12 students at the ICC. It was a fitting occasion to mark this significant milestone for our Class of 2025, accompanied by some fantastic music and with all Senior School students in attendance. I would like to draw your attention to our annual Senior School Speech Night for students in Years 7 – 11, held on the last day of term, Tuesday 9 December, commencing at 6:00pm at the Sydney Town Hall. This is a compulsory event for students.
As we are at the beginning of a new term, please be reminded to ensure that school clothes and personal items, such as drink bottles and lunchboxes, are clearly labelled.
Over the term break, a number of exciting student activities and tours took place. A group of Year 11 Spanish students, along with Ms Curran and Ms Kershaw, travelled to Valladolid, Spain to take part in a language intensive school, homestay and cultural immersion experience. The girls had a fantastic time, and I look forward to sharing a report with you in the next newsletter.
Students undertaking the Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award completed their Adventurous Journey, which included hiking and canoeing on the Shoalhaven River on the South Coast.
A group of students and teachers from Ti Tree School in the Northern Territory, is visiting us and engaging in various activities in the Junior and Senior Schools this week. In addition to classroom activities, they will also experience some of the sights in and around Sydney.
