Mrs Kirollos
Head of Campus

There is a wonderful sense of momentum as the school term hits its stride. A palpable energy can be felt across the campus, from the spirit of our House events and the creativity of the Drama Department in Playing Beatie Bow, to the purposeful engagement seen in excursions and the daily life of teaching and learning.

To the students and staff who have given their time, creativity and courage to bring the production to life, we offer our thanks and congratulations. You have invited audiences to step back in time, working tirelessly to transform the Allison Howell Drama Theatre into the cobblestone streets of 1873 Sydney. It has been a true celebration of talent, storytelling and teamwork.

Last week’s Fun Run was a wonderful reminder of the energy, joy and community spirit that make our school so special. Congratulations to Cumberland House, who claimed victory in the House Cheer, with Durham House finishing a strong second. We look forward to celebrating our Fun Run athletes during the Week 8 Assembly.

Thank you to our swimmers and divers who represented Meriden today at the IGSA Swimming and Diving Carnival. We look forward to hearing about your results and thank our Year 8 students who cheered you on when they travelled to Homebush at recess to support you from the stands.
