Notes to Fees Schedule

Payment of Tuition Fees

Fees may be paid by BPay, cheque or credit card. A charge applies to card payments. Fees are payable in accordance with the date displayed on the fees notice. An administration fee of $175 is charged on overdue accounts.

Resources Fee

Resources Fee covers incursions and excursions, subject levy (where applicable), licences, annual Camp program if applicable (except for interstate/overseas trips), and annual membership of the Parents and Friends Association. 

Resources Fee does not cover lost IDs and library books, Music Camp, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Cadets, sports registration, additional HSC charge, School bus, music instrument repair/hiring and Exchange Program.

The Resources Fee is invoiced in Term 1.

Voluntary Building Fund

The School has a Building Fund to which parents and guardians are encouraged to contribute $150 per term per family. This contribution is fully tax deductible and receipts are issued. This money is used for major building works.

Capital Fee

This money is used for maintenance and other minor building works.

Reductions

While sisters are currently attending Meriden, a reduction of 10% of tuition fees will be made for a second child and 20% for every subsequent child. There are special reductions for children of clergy. Fees on application.

Notice of Withdrawal

If parents wish to withdraw the student from the School, or from any additional activity the student is undertaking, the parents must provide the Principal with one full term’s written notice. If such notice is not provided, the parents must pay to the School the full school fees for the total term or activity as per the School’s fee schedule at that time.

Notes to Fees Schedule

Payment of Tuition Fees

Tuition fees are to be paid in advance in accordance with Australian Government regulations. Tuition fees are only refunded if a visa is refused by the Australian Government.

If a student leaves the School during a term, regardless of the reason, no refund will be made in respect of the remaining portion of the year.
