Notes to Fee Schedule

Enrolment Fee

Any place reserved for a student may be offered to another applicant if the enrolment fee is not paid by the date stipulated.

Acceptance Advice

An Acceptance Advice form will be forwarded upon the receipt of enrolment and tuition fees so that a visa application can be made.

Payment of Tuition Fees

Fees may be paid by BPAY, cheque or credit card. A charge applies to credit card payments. Tuition fees are paid in advance in accordance with Australian Government regulations. Tuition fees are only refunded if a visa is denied by the Australian Government. If a student leaves the school during a term, regardless of the reason, no refund will be made in respect of the remaining portion of the year.

Voluntary Building Fund

The school has a Building Fund to which parents and guardians are encouraged to contribute $150 per term per family. This contribution is fully tax deductible and receipts are issued. This money is used for major building works.

Capital Fee

This money is used for maintenance and other minor building works.

While sisters are currently attending Meriden, a reduction of 10% of tuition fees will be made for a second child and 20% for every subsequent child. There are special reductions for children of clergy. Fees on application.

Extra Subjects

Extra subjects are optional and application should be made at the beginning of each year. Relevant fees are available from the Business Office. Payment arrangements are made with the extra subject teacher who bills parents independently of the school.

Text Books/eTexts

Any text books or eTexts purchased by the School on behalf of students are charged to their account.

Uniform items can be purchased from the Meriden Uniform Shop.

A number of excursions and activities are planned for each Year group. Such excursions and activities are an integral part of the school’s program and all students are expected to participate.
