Meriden is an Anglican school with a Christian foundation. Many of the staff live out their Christian faith and are active members of a local church. Staff at Meriden are required to actively invest in the Christian ethos of the School, be loyal to the School and the Principal, and publicly supportive of the School’s decisions.
Meriden wishes to employ a Head of Department – Christian Education and Assistant Chaplain to commence in 2026.
The Head of Department takes responsibility for the teaching and learning of the subject area within the School, and the professional development and care of the staff within the Department. As an Assistant Chaplain, he/she also assists the Chaplaincy team in building strong faith through evangelism, discipleship and training within the School.
This is a permanent full-time position to commence in Term 1, 2026.
This position reports to the Head of Teaching and Learning as well as the School Chaplain, and ultimately the Principal.
