Year 9 Father/Daughter Dinner

Year 9 girls are looking forward to an evening with their Dads at the Year 9 Father/Daughter Dinner, which will be held at Waterview in Bicentennial Park on Friday. The Year 9 committee has been busily preparing for the evening and putting together a video to show on the night.

Year 12 Graduation

The Year 12 Graduation service will be held on Monday 19 September at City Recital Hall in Angel Place. Students in Years 9 to 11 will attend the service and girls in Years 7 and 8 who have a sister in the graduating class are also invited to attend. Girls are asked to make their own way to the City Recital Hall by 8:30am. Ambassadors will help to direct the girls from Wynyard Station. Full school academic uniform should be worn, and girls are asked to bring a small excursion bag with them. Girls will then be bussed back to School at the completion of the ceremony.

Students in Years 7 and 8 will watch a livestream of the ceremony from School.

Invitation from the Parents and Friends’ Association

The Meriden Parents and Friends’ Association would like to invite interested parents and guardians to attend their next meeting to learn more about the role the P and F plays in the School. The Parents and Friends’ Association supports the Meriden community by arranging several events during the year, such as the Senior School Parents’ Expo and the Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Breakfasts. The association warmly invites you to attend the next meeting scheduled for Monday 5 September at 6pm in the Boardroom, located on Level 2 of the Greenhalgh Centre for Music and Drama.

P and F Father’s Day Breakfast

After missing the event for the past two years, it was lovely to see so many girls and their fathers enjoying breakfast together on Tuesday morning in the Bell Garden. The Parent and Friends’ Association prepared a delicious breakfast menu complete with a coffee cart, which was well received. Thank you to the P and F for their organisation of the morning, the Year 10 Ambassadors for their assistance, and the Meriden Media Team, led by Miss Casaceli, for taking photographs on the day.
