On Tuesday 10 December, parents of students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 will receive written feedback about their daughter’s learning and development this semester. The reports include specific progress statements to help parents understand their daughter’s growth and her next steps for learning. We use a range of age-appropriate strategies to prepare the written feedback, including observations, practical activities, written work, research, presentations, and collaborative work. The feedback is one form of communication with parents and should be read in conjunction with the work samples and feedback shared through the digital portfolios.

Once the term concludes, the teachers will have handover meetings to help prepare for next year. This process will involve sharing the girls’ progress this year and their areas for growth.

Student Leadership

Each student in Year 6 leaves the Junior School having experienced a leadership role through the two-year Buddy Program and involvement in a Year 6 Team of her choosing. Our current Year 5 students have recently chosen their Year 6 Team roles. Additionally, some girls have been elected to Prefect and House Leader positions for 2025. A list of students serving in these positions next year is included below.
