We endeavour to provide helpful feedback on each student’s academic progress in a number of ways. One of those is through conversations during Parent/Teacher Interviews. We address progress in each subject by focusing on the following questions:

  • What can your daughter do well?
  • What are her areas for growth?
  • How does her current work compare with her earlier work?
  • What are the steps she can take to improve?

The first session of Parent/Teacher Interviews this year will be held on Tuesday 11 March for parents of Year 12 students. Information about booking interviews will be provided in due course. We encourage your daughter to attend with you.

Parent/Teacher Interviews for other year groups are on the following dates:

  • Year 7 – Monday 31 March
  • Year 8 – Monday 2 June
  • Year 9 – Tuesday 20 May
  • Year 10 – Tuesday 24 June
  • Year 11 – Monday 4 August

Another way that we provide feedback is through reports. Our eReports for students in Years 7 to 9 are designed to provide ongoing, timely feedback and can be viewed on Meriden eVe. Statistical information about assessments and each student’s Course Grade, Endeavour Grade and Approaches to Learning Grades appear on the eReport approximately two to three weeks after the assessment activity. This information should be considered in conjunction with the teacher’s feedback provided with the task.

Reports will be available on Parent Lounge at the end of Terms 1 and 3 for Year 12, and the conclusion of Terms 2 and 4 for Years 10 and 11. These reports are designed to inform parents, as well as employers and universities, about each student’s level of achievement and progress.
