Meriden communicates with the school community through various channels.
Meriden App was launched in early 2020 for parents of students in Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. It facilitates communication between the School and home by allowing parents to receive important messages, including real-time push notifications, relevant to their child. It also provides links to the School Newsletter, calendar, community events, term dates and key contacts, together with a range of information about sport and cocurricular activities.
The App is the main method of communication throughout the various sports seasons in the Senior and Junior Schools. It enables parents to receive notification of wet weather cancellations, changes to sport sessions, venue changes, results and standings. It alerts parents of sport registration requirements each term and provides a quick link to the registration process.
Meriden App can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. Simply search for 'Meriden App'. Parents log in to Meriden App using their usual Meriden Parent Login details. Parents are automatically subscribed by the School to notifications relevant to them.

In addition to notifications via Meriden App, the School uses email to communicate with parents. For this reason it is crucial to advise us of changes to your email address. Parents may update their contact details through the Parent Lounge facility.
Parent Lounge is a secure ICT facility which enables parents to check and update information contained in their daughter’s individual school record such as medical information, address and contact details. You can also view your School Account and pay School fees securely via Parent Lounge. Parent Lounge can be accessed easily via the Meriden App and eVe using the parent’s personal login details.
Parents use the School's eCentral facility to set up their personalised Parent Login details which are then used to access any of the Meriden systems available to parents. eCentral also provides links to Parent Lounge, Flexischools and online school fee payments.
In the event of a major incident at the School, such as an evacuation or lockdown, parents will be advised and kept updated by SMS.
The SMS system is also used to alert a parent of an unexplained student absence in the Senior School.
The fortnightly Meriden Newsletter contains essential information for Pre-K to Year 12 parents. The newsletter is published fortnightly on a Thursday afternoon during term time and is posted on the Meriden App. Parents receive a notification via the Meriden App to advise that the newsletter is available. The newsletter is also emailed to parents.
Snapshot is an overview of notices and upcoming activities for the Junior School. It is available on the Junior School information page on eVe and parents are notified via the Meriden App.
eVe is Meriden’s intranet which can be accessed by students, parents and teachers. Students and teachers use eVe to collaborate and communicate about school work, class and homework resources, assessment information and cocurricular activities. It also contains student-specific information such as individual timetables, as well as useful website links and access to Meriden’s eLibrary catalogue.
Parents are able to access information about their daughter via eVe including eReports for students in Years 7 to 9. eReports are updated as assessment tasks are completed and contain grades and other important information about a student’s progress. eVe contains useful information such as term dates, events calendar, cocurricular activities, Meriden Bus Services and links to the Parent Lounge facility.
Daily notices for students in Years 7 to 12 are displayed on digital screens throughout the Senior School campus.
