IPSHA Touch Football

The Term 3 IPSHA Touch Football season provided students in Years 3 to 6 with valuable opportunities to develop their skills, build confidence and strengthen friendships. Through teamwork, perseverance and outstanding sportsmanship, the girls represented the School with enthusiasm and celebrated significant growth both on and off the field.

The latest IPSHA Touch Football season was a rewarding and enjoyable experience for students across Years 3 to 6. Throughout the season, the girls demonstrated enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to challenge themselves as they continued to develop their skills and understanding of the game.

Each week provided valuable opportunities for students to improve their passing, positioning, teamwork and game awareness while competing against other IPSHA schools. Beyond developing their technical skills, the girls learned the importance of communication, resilience and supporting one another both on and off the field. It was wonderful to see students growing in confidence as the season progressed, embracing new challenges and celebrating successes together.

Across all year groups, teams represented the School with confidence and enthusiasm, displaying excellent sportsmanship and respect towards teammates, coaches, referees and opponents. Whether facing tough competition, learning from setbacks or celebrating hard-fought victories, the girls consistently demonstrated determination, perseverance and positive team spirit.

A highlight of the season was watching students encourage one another and work together towards common goals. The friendships formed and strengthened through sport were evident throughout the term, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment. Many students showed significant improvement in their individual skills, while others stepped into leadership roles, helping to motivate and guide their teammates.

To celebrate the conclusion of a successful season, Best and Fairest and Most Improved awards were presented across all teams. These awards recognise not only individual performance, but also commitment, effort, improvement, sportsmanship and contribution to team culture.
