Jizelle takes on the Junior Australian Open

After an outstanding year of Tennis, Year 10 student Jizelle Sibai made her grand slam debut at the 2025 Junior Australian Open held at Melbourne Park.

Throughout 2024, Jizelle claimed her second Junior ITF singles title in Auckland, New Zealand, achieving a career high ranking of 166. Jizelle was awarded a wildcard into the J300 AGL LOY Yang Traralgon Junior International, where she reached the round of 16 in the doubles event.

Following this success, Jizelle was awarded a wildcard to the Junior Australian Open Girls Singles and Doubles main draw to compete against some of the best junior international tennis players.
