‘You can sit with me’ says the Meriden community

In Term 2, Meriden’s Senior School Prefects hosted a Braids For Friendship (BFF) event, celebrating You Can Sit With Me Day and honouring friendships within the school community.

You Can Sit With Me is an inclusive program that aims to eradicate social isolation in schools and make sure every student feels welcome.

During Pastoral Time, the entire Senior School community came together and created an environment where everyone felt welcome and accepted.

A total of 790 Meriden girls sat together and braided each other’s hair, breaking a record of 765 set by the school six years ago.
